Culverstone Green Primary School

Putting the needs of every child at the heart of everything we think, say and do.

PTA

The Parent and Teacher Association (PTA) have been an integral part of the school community. In its time, the PTA have raised many tens of thousands of pounds which have been spent on improving equipment and resources, to enhance our children’s education and the facilities in school. We are a registered charity, with each and every one of YOU being automatic members. There is no joining process and you can dip in and out as much as you like around your family commitments or whatever life throws at us at the time.

Obviously as in any organisation, there are times when it is more ‘challenging’, but with the continued support of parents and staff, our PTA has always succeeded in its efforts. The PTA is extremely conscious of the ethos and diversity of our school, and we try very hard when organising and planning events to respect this. Not all our events are fundraisers and the PTA offers help to the school in any form it can. This may be labour, other charity fundraisers like the recently held Macmillan cake and coffee, or an ear to bend when looking to change anything for the better.
