Culverstone Green Primary School

Putting the needs of every child at the heart of everything we think, say and do.

What is Forest School?

What is Forest School

What does my child need to wear?

Enclosed, supportive and sturdy shoes are essential for every session. Coats and jumpers should always be available for your child during their session. A waterproof coat is recommended because sessions will still take place if it is raining.

Wellies can be worn during muddy conditions.

Your child is required to wear long trousers for every session, this is to reduce the likelihood of any scratches or stings.

All clothing should be labelled clearly.

Children must bring in their school shoes in a separate bag to change into after their session. They should also bring in their uniform or PE kit to change into after the session, should they need to.

Autumn/Winter:

  • Long trousers such as joggers or leggings
  • Long sleeved tops
  • Jumpers and Coats

Warm weather essentials:

  • Sun hat
  • Sun cream
  • Water bottle

Wet weather essentials:

  • Waterproof clothing, especially a coat
  • Wellies
  • School uniform to change into after their session

If your child does not wear the appropriate clothing for their session and the weather, they will not be able to take part.

Football tops and kits are not permitted.
